Snake Tray celebrates 30th anniversary

Cable management company Snake Tray is celebrating 30 years in business in 2026, representatives say, also highlighting its expanded work in power distribution and enclosure solutions.
Founded in 1996 on New York’s Long Island, the company is based around the idea of improving installation efficiency in the data communications industry. Its original product “bent like a snake,” officials say, which inspired the company’s name.
Since then, the firm has become a major player in the solar and energy industry, once again providing cable management solutions across the market. With more than 35 patents secured over the past 30 years, Snake Tray’s products are engineered to lower total construction costs, and incorporate design features that allow for less hardware and lower installation time.
“Designing and manufacturing solutions for our customers has always been at the core of our business,” says company founder and president Roger Jette. “We’ve been fortunate to work with leading companies and organizations across the U.S. and internationally. It’s been an incredible journey.”
Expanding the Snake Tray portfolio
Originally focused on the data communications industry, the company now boasts a “comprehensive range” of cable management solutions for markets that dot the industrial landscape. Snake Tray has also broadened its portfolio in order to deliver integrated systems designed to complement its cable management products.
Snake Tray’s products serve a range of industries around the globe, including energy, construction, transit, tunneling infrastructure, healthcare, and data centers. The true key to the company’s success, however, is its employees, according to Jette.
“Our team’s dedication to keeping the customer at the center of everything we do has been critical to our growth,” he says. “While we may not be the largest company in the industry, we have consistently led through innovation and customer service. It has been a privilege to partner with so many outstanding organizations.”
Looking ahead to years 31 and beyond, Snake Tray says it has plans to continue investment in new product development to meet constantly evolving industries. The company also plans to keep expanding its U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities to produce for the country’s infrastructure.
