Boviet Solar recognized for sustainable practices by EcoVadis

Boviet Solar Technology Co., known for its monocrystalline PV cells, earned a prestigious EcoVadis Bronze Medal for Sustainability, achieving an EcoVadis 84th percentile ranking. These metrics underscore a company’s commitment to responsible practices in environmental stewardship, social accountability, business ethics, and supply chain integrity.

Founded in 2013 in Vietnam, Boviet Solar, is a Tier 1 solar technology company that specializes in the manufacturing of Monocrystalline PERC and TOPCon PV cells and Gamma Series Monofacial and Vega Series Bifacial PV modules, as well as solar project development. The company works with IPPs, EPCs, project developers, solar installers, and contractors to deliver top-performing PV modules for utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and residential solar projects.

This achievement adds to Boviet Solar’s array of certifications, including Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification from EPD Italy, TÜV SUD EPA TCLP, European Union REACH, RoHS, TCSA, and PFAS compliance.

EcoVadis evaluation explained

EcoVadis is a globally recognized authority in sustainability performance evaluations. The EcoVadis rating system serves as a critical tool for companies worldwide to assess their sustainability efforts. It provides detailed assessments across four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Boviet solar modules

Boviet Solar’s Mono-Monofacial Gamma Series and Mono-Bifacial Vega Series PERC and TOPCon cell-based PV modules are designed with monocrystalline wafer, half-cut, multi-busbar, and large cell designs for residential, commercial, industrial and utility scale solar applications.

As of 2024, Boviet Solar’s annual PV cell and PV module manufacturing capacity is 3.0 GW, and it has shipped a total of 6.2 GW since inception, mainly operating in U.S.A market.
