Partnership to bring more solar trackers to North Carolina

NC Solar residential Install

A new partnership between NC Solar Now and AllEarth Renewables will bring the innovative AllEarth Solar Tracker solar electric system to homeowners and businesses throughout North Carolina.

NC Solar Now is one of the leading North Carolina residential solar installers and provides full service solar installation, design, engineering, and energy efficiency systems for homes and businesses throughout North Carolina. The first solar tracker installed by NC Solar Now was commissioned in July in Yadkinville, N.C.

Designed and manufactured in Williston, Vt., AllEarth Solar Trackers use GPS and wireless technology to follow the sun throughout the day to boost solar energy production by up to 45 percent over roof-top installations. The ground-mounted solar systems are designed for homes, businesses, non-profits and commercial-scale installations.

“We are committed to meeting the growing needs of our customers and the AllEarth Solar Tracker is a brilliant and welcome addition to our installation options. More and more people in North Carolina are excited about creating their own source of energy and with the AllEarth Tracker they can optimize their solar production for a quicker return on investment,” said Steve Nicolas, president of NC Solar Now.

Our longer running side project is The Pitch -- in which we have awkward discussions with solar manufacturers and suppliers about their new technology and ideas so that you don't have to. We've discusses everything from residential rail-less deck attaching and home solar financing to large-scale energy storage value stacking and utility-driven new home solar + storage microgrids.

We also post our Project of the Year announcements there! Interviews with this year's winners will be up starting the week of Nov. 8. Head there and subscribe today to stay on top of all this extra stuff.
