HSGS selected to build solar PV array for Z Man Fishing Products
Hannah Solar Government Services has been selected to design and construct a 490-kW roof mounted solar PV system for Z-Man Fishing Products in Ladson, South Carolina. Z-Man Fishing Products is a South Carolina based fishing lure brand that supplies products to fishermen around the world. Their facility in Ladson, SC is responsible for all of Z Man’s manufacturing.
The solar PV energy system being constructed is estimated to generate 654,006 kWh of energy in the first year for Z Man’s facility. This will allow Z Man to produce around 71% of their facility’s electricity using their solar energy system.
Col (RET.) Dave McNeil, President and CEO of HSGS, said “We are excited to start work on this energy savings project with Z Man Fishing Products. Z Man is a local business that is setting a great example of how businesses in South Carolina can advance their operations through renewable energy.”
