GoodWe’s voltage-adjustable LVSMT-US inverter for small C&I simplifies ordering and installation | Product of the week

GoodWe’s new LVSMT-US string inverter for small C&I installations uses the same advanced string inverter technology as GoodWe’s popular SMT-US series for medium- to large-scale C&I installations, that offers all the benefits of MLPE without the additional hardware. Providing extreme flexibility, the inverter can be easily set during commissioning to a range of sizes and voltage outputs (22/28kW 208V, 23/30kW at 220V, and 25/32kW at 240V) to meet local grid requirements, simplifying ordering and eliminating the need to install a costly transformer.
This value-packed, three-phase inverter is a cost-effective solution with 4 MPPTs to optimize power output. Further improving energy production, the inverter has a maximum efficiency of 97.5% and a CEC efficiency of 96.5%, a wide voltage operating range of 180V-950V, and 180% DC input oversizing. While its smart shadow scan can be activated in the event of temporary shade, eliminating the need for MLPE.
Plus, it offers enhanced safety and reliable operation with an inverter-embedded rapid shutdown transmitter, Type II Surge Protection on both the DC and AC side, integrated AFCI, and a NEMA Type 4X rating.
