Sunvoy launches ‘Sunvoy API’ to open up solar monitoring tools
Solar installers, asset owners, and portfolio managers who monitor solar production either use multiple monitoring platforms, or they are forced to use a specific hardware to simplify their administrative work, which may or may not be the best hardware.
The solar fleet managers at Sunvoy want to open things up a bit more. Sunvoy is now providing developers and businesses with open access to its suite of tools and data via Sunvoy API.
“We are excited to launch the Sunvoy API, which represents a significant step forward in our mission to make solar energy more accessible and efficient,” said Herve Billiet, CEO of Sunvoy. “It’s common for a business in the solar industry to have solar inverters of multiple brands requiring multiple monitoring platforms. With Sunvoy, we give these businesses the capability to monitor all their solar hardware in 1 place.”
Sunvoy API overview
The Sunvoy API enhances solar energy monitoring by offering integration with a wide array of applications and platforms. This new API empowers developers to build custom solutions that leverage Sunvoy’s features, including:
- Energy Data Centralization: Aggregate and analyze energy data from multiple sources in one
unified platform. Sources include solar inverters, but also batteries and other renewable energy
hardware. - Project Tracking: Monitor every stage of solar projects via API
- System Monitoring: Actively monitor solar systems for issues and optimize performance.
A Leap Forward for the Solar Industry
The Sunvoy API is designed for ease of use, with comprehensive documentation and support to
ensure smooth integration. Developers can quickly get started with clear guides, examples, and
dedicated support channels.
“This API will enable businesses to harness the full potential of our platform, driving innovation and efficiency in the solar industry.” explained Joe Marhamati, co-founder of Sunvoy.
