Solis adds Pytes as a UL-listed battery option for S6 hybrid inverters

Solis continues to add partners to pair with its hybrid inverters. The S6 Hybrid Energy Storage Inverter (3.8-11.4kW) from Solis USA (Ginlong Technologies) is now UL 9540 listed with new battery partner Pytes.

UL 9540 at a glance

UL 9540 is a safety standard for energy storage systems (ESS) and equipment that can be connected to a local utility grid or used as a standalone application. UL 9540 also specifies size and installation requirements for the design and construction of ESS. It defines electrical, mechanical, fluid containment, and environmental performance tests, as well as system safety tests. 

Pytes batteries at a glance

The HV48100 distributed energy storage system supports to extend the systems to 8 sets in series in maximum, which can meet the demand of 25.6 kWh to 40.96 kWh energy storage configuration and realize the collaborative control of multiple devices through the intelligent control system
