Vote for the 2025 Solar Builder Project of the Year Awards

2025 POY vote now with sponsor project of the year

It’s time to vote! Keep your ballot-punching skills sharp by casting your vote for your favorite candidates in the 2025 Solar Builder Project of the Year Awards. Stakeholders from all corners of the solar industry have sent in their top nominees, and your diligent Solar Builder editors have narrowed the field down to these 31 projects across six categories — and now it’s time for you to choose the winners.

We’ve added two new categories this year. As last year, nominees are grouped projects into four size categories Under 100 kW, 101 kW to 1 MW, Over 1 MW to 10 MW, and Over 10 MW. Plus, we have a new category for Microgrid projects, thanks to sponsor CPS America.

Below you’ll find the pages for each category. After you submit a vote, you can navigate to the other categories from the submission confirmation page. You are allowed to vote once per day from now until midnight (ET) on Friday, Oct. 10. (FYI: Our voting widget will let you vote more than once a day, but we filter these out in the back-end. Sorry, ballot stuffers.) Winners will be announced and prominently featured in the Q4 issue of Solar Builder magazine and online in December.

We also have an option on the form to learn more about the sponsor, and to opt-in to a Solar Builder magazine subscription. Solar Builder magazine includes our best, exclusive editorial each quarter, in both print and digital versions. Subscription is free. Pretty great deal.

Thank you to sponsor Aurora Solar for once again sponsoring the Project of the Year awards.
