DSD Renewables rolls out new Connect features like instant pricing

DSD Renewables launched DSD Connect last year to streamline the financing and development of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects. Since then, DSD Connect users have created and priced nearly 1 GW of C&I solar projects across hundreds of distributed generation projects. Now, DSD is rolling out some new features.

“For the first time in our industry, we see a pathway toward scalability by creating a dynamic platform and providing a one-stop-shop for design, financing, engineering, asset management, and more, now fully backed by an intuitive tool that puts the power in the hands of our partners and customers,” says Danielle Fidel, Operations Director of DSD’s Developer Network.

The platform is connected to DSD’s customer relationship management system. In it, C&I developers can generate new sales collateral, pricing summaries, and project-specific PPA rates. Regional development and EPC partners that are part of DSD’s Developer Network can now upload project designs and spec sheets for frictionless bid reviews and analysis and to generate term sheets for faster awards.

The platform is integrated with DSD’s underwriting model, giving partners access to real-time, accurate contract pricing, as well as flexible third-party financing. This is valuable for connecting smaller, regional partners with the resources and capital of a much larger organization.

“DSD has fully embraced its unique role as a platform provider in the C&I space, and we’re constantly seeking new ways to accelerate and improve how our partners sell and build solar projects,” says Garth Jensen, Technical Director, Developer Network at DSD. “DSD Connect is an innovative software solution and we are now expanding its capabilities with new features to even better support our growing number of partners.”
