Small business sees $4,000 in annual energy savings thanks to GridZero system

Intersolar North America was packed with new product innovations and intriguing solar install case studies. This tale from Brandon Provalenko, director of product and market strategy with OutBack Power, has both. OutBack has made a lot of news recently, from its battery-based inverters earning HECO approval, to its new storage solution with Sonnenbatterie, to the debut of its exciting FLEXpower Radian inverter. In the video above, Provalenko details a case study from Ontario, Canada, (where there isn’t a ton of sunlight) where a small business has able to self-consume energy and only use the grid when needed. The amount of energy savings they were able to achieve is fairly impressive. Cool story.
