Streetleaf, Lennar Homes partner to supply solar streetlights across America

Lighting manufacturer Streetleaf and home builder Lennar Homes have reached a national vendor agreement to provide solar-powered streetlights in Lennar-built communities around the U.S.
Announced Jan. 22, the collaboration is a “significant milestone” for Streetleaf, the company says. The agreement will accelerate the company’s mission of providing sustainable alternatives to many traditional on-grid lighting services for American communities.
“Working with Lennar to illuminate its communities is an honor, especially as the demand for sustainable yet cost effective solutions continues to grow,” says Streetleaf CEO Liam Ryan. “We aim to support homebuilders and homeowners, to provide light and safety in communities across the US. Streetleaf is an example where sustainability is possible without costing more.”
For Lennar, the agreement “streamlines the process” of bringing solar energy into new communities, and will enhance the company’s environmental and safety practices, the firm says. The decision to expand its partnership with Streetleaf—a longtime collaborator already—was an easy one for Lennar Homes, according to Brandt Marrott, the company’s national director of land development.
“Streetleaf is a smart solution that saves money and improves the experience for our homeowners,” Marrott says. “Almost 3,000 Streetleaf streetlights have been installed in 56 Lennar communities, so it was an easy decision to expand our work together, nationally. The Streetleaf team makes the process easy from planning and product selection to on-site support. We’ve seen meaningful cost savings thanks to their streamlined approach and reliable solar lighting.”
Since its founding in 2019, Streetleaf has installed more than 12,000 solar-powered lights across the U.S. The firm is “rapidly growing to meet the rising demand for resilient, sustainable solutions,” it says, and is willing to work with more developers, builders, utilities, HOAs, and communities to install further lighting solutions in 2026 and beyond.
