Smart home tech company Savant keeps integrating more control options into its Savant App, this week adding ClimateMaster’s heat pumps. Savant’s smart climate control matched to ClimateMaster’s geothermal HVAC technology can improve energy efficient while maintaining a consistent temperature across every room in the home.

A ClimateMaster geothermal heat pump uses the consistent temperature of the ground to provide home heating or cooling for indoor comfort. Flexible piping inserted into the earth brings the natural warmth of the ground into the home during cold months, and removes the heat during the summer, transferring that unwanted warmth back into the ground. The end result is a comfortable living space year-round with significantly reduced utility bills when compared to a traditional HVAC system.
Savant App users with a ClimateMaster heat pump system can now take advantage of Savant’s HVAC scheduler, creating climate control routines customized to each zone based on time of day, day of week, or day of the year to suit preferred settings across the seasons.
HVAC contractors and solar contractors expanding their services into this realm will appreciate that Savant’s native cloud integration enables them to properly configure the heat pump for the residence separate from the customized Savant control setup to be managed by the integrator, creating the best of both worlds for the homeowner.
