ECA Solar adds a VP of development to expand focus in New Jersey solar market

expansion

Since the company’s first installation six years ago, ECA SOLAR has developed, engineered, and safely installed solar PV systems on over 5 million square feet of commercial rooftop space on the East Coast. That looks to continue after the hiring of Thomas B. Schrum of New Brunswick, N.J., as Vice President of Development, tasked with expanding the company’s presence in New Jersey.

“Our expansion in New Jersey is made possible by joining with Tom. His proven experience in the New Jersey real estate market and The School Development Authority will be a great asset for our solar growth in the Garden State. We are overjoyed to have his leadership on our team,” expressed Todd Fryatt, Founder and President of ECA SOLAR.

“ECA SOLAR is setting the standard for commercial solar solutions, and I am excited about joining the ECA Solar team and introducing their proven products and designs to New Jersey’s fast-growing market” said Schrum. “As New Jersey scales up its renewable portfolio, ECA Solar will be a willing and able partner in its success.

We've discusses everything from residential rail-less deck attaching and home solar financing to large-scale energy storage value stacking and utility-driven new home solar + storage microgrids.

We also post our Project of the Year announcements there! Interviews with this year's winners will be up starting the week of Nov. 8. Head there and subscribe today to stay on top of all this extra stuff.
