Boston’s Solar Wolf Energy explains its expansion into the Southwest
With a new year comes news for Boston’s own Solar Wolf Energy (SWE). CEO Ted Strzelecki recently spent time throughout Texas and the southwest working on the next big phase of growth for SWE: the company is opening offices and expanding into an additional five states down that way. This will bring their current scope to 16 states.
When asked how SWE picks which areas, Strzelecki said, “These moves are done strategically with in-house research done on location. Expanding our network in these areas will have a significant impact on both our company’s bottom line as well as our customer’s finances.”
Seeing the shift in solar, SWE looks to bring their model into these states at price points that other solar companies cannot often duplicate. SWE should know, in the past year they began expanding operations in the Midwest sprouting out from their headquarters in Boston. Each time they have taken market share at a rapid pace due to their thorough research, installation methods, and pricing.
“Although our outlook for 2017 is aggressive we intend to still sustain our margins and more importantly maintain our profitability” Strzelecki stated. SWE feels it is important to plant a flag and open physical company offices in these locations, which is different than the model some companies use currently. That is, in which they have a sales person or team in a location and have them work out of their home while using outside contractors for installers. Solar Wolf Energy also likes the idea of bringing jobs to new states.
