Solerus Energy adds SolaX hybrid inverters and batteries to U.S. product lineup
New distribution agreement brings versatile All-in-One Energy Storage Inverters and high-voltage batteries to U.S. contractors and DIY homeowners

As we reported last week, Solerus Energy is broadening its approach. This former regional supplier now offers a full catalog, free design services, and streamlined procurement tools for solar and storage projects, with both solar pros and DIYers in mind.
This week, Solerus expanded its catalog with hybrid inverters and batteries from SolaX Power, adding another layer to its role as both a parts supplier and technical support hub for installers and DIY solar users. The new distribution agreement makes SolaX’s All-in-One Energy Storage Inverters and high-voltage battery banks available through Solerus’ national platform.
The lineup is designed with flexibility in mind. Both DC- and AC-coupled models can be used for new systems or retrofits, on- or off-grid, and support whole-home backup—delivering continuous 160A backup interface support, a feature not always available in residential systems.
Other notable specs include up to 200% PV oversizing for added design freedom, as many as three maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) for handling multiple array orientations, and parallel capability for up to four units. With peak efficiency reaching 98%, the All-in-One inverters are also engineered to minimize conversion losses.
Safety and compliance are front and center. The systems include integrated arc fault protection, a rapid shutdown transmitter, and carry certifications to UL1741 PCS, UL1741 SA, UL1699B, and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1-01. Models are available in four power classes: 3.8 kW, 5 kW, 6 kW, and 7.6 kW.
For installers and homeowners, the technology is supported by an intuitive configuration, monitoring, and control platform. Solerus emphasizes that it will serve as the first line of technical support—rather than pushing customers directly to the manufacturer—a move meant to streamline troubleshooting and enhance post-sale service.
“Partnering with SolaX Power to develop this system allows Solerus to take a front-line technical support role for our customers, offering a single, reliable point of contact from purchase through installation and beyond,” said Syed Mujtaba, founder and president of Solerus Energy.
The company’s catalog already spans racking hardware, shutdown devices, and monitoring tools, but this move reflects Solerus’ expansion into system-level design and support. Mujtaba said the goal is to take the guesswork out of solar by helping both contractors and DIY customers identify the right mix of components for performance, compliance, and reliability.
“We ask customers what they want their system to provide, and guide them toward proven, high-performing products that will get them there,” Mujtaba said.
