Portable power manufacturer EcoFlow is expanding its emergency response efforts in the U.S. through new partnerships with disaster relief organizations Project Footprint and Convoy of Hope. The goal: Delivering clean, reliable power to frontline responders and communities during natural disasters—just in time for what’s expected to be an intense 2025 hurricane season.

The company has donated more than $50,000 worth of its solar + storage systems—including DELTA Pro 3, DELTA Pro, and DELTA 2 models—to support first responders, emergency shelters, and community resilience programs.

The effort is part of EcoFlow’s “Power for Rescue” initiative, which delivers portable energy systems to disaster-stricken areas. In the event of power outages, these systems can help charge medical devices, keep families connected, and support critical communication infrastructure.

New Collaborations Bring Local Impact

Footprint Project, based in New Orleans, specializes in deploying mobile solar generators and microgrids in disaster zones. The group has already used EcoFlow’s donated equipment in training workshops designed to teach responders and residents how solar tech can build long-term resilience.

“EcoFlow’s sustainable technology will help us to not only power critical relief operations during disasters but also train communities to build long-term resilience,” said Jamie Swezey, Program Director at Footprint Project.

Convoy of Hope, a Missouri-based humanitarian group, will deploy EcoFlow’s battery systems in its fleet of mobile response teams. “Their generous donation of generators will help equip our Disaster Services team to service communities and families,” said Ethan Forhetz, Vice President of Public Engagement.

EcoFlow Disaster Response Track Record

EcoFlow has ramped up its disaster relief efforts in recent years. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the company donated portable power units to North Carolina households. Earlier this year, EcoFlow supported firefighters and evacuees during the Eaton Fire in California. In Florida, it partnered with nonprofit Red Lightning to pre-position solar + storage gear ahead of future storms.

Powering Resilience

EcoFlow says it will continue to expand its “Power for Rescue” program throughout 2025. The company also plans to offer discounts on select battery systems—including the DELTA Pro Ultra—during Prime Day to make emergency-ready gear more accessible to homeowners.

For communities on the front lines of climate disasters, the promise of power—anytime, anywhere—is more than a tagline. It’s a lifeline.
