Anker SOLIX debuts world-first solar backup technology

Bellevue, Washington-based portable power station company Anker SOLIX has unveiled its new E10 solar backup system, promising to bring professional-level solar reliability to the residential market.
Touting the system as “the world’s first smart hybrid whole-home backup solution,” the E10 integrates battery storage and solar power with smart fuel generator to keep homes powered. The generator itself boasts both auto and manual switch options, lowering the level of installation and operation hassle for homeowners across the U.S., representatives say.
“Combining professional-grade reliability with consumer ease, the E10 is built on three core pillars: infinite backup capability, uncompromising whole-home power, and a streamlined and worry-free experience,” says the company. “This launch makes energy resilience accessible to homeowners across the continental United States.”
The E10 joins Anker SOLIX’s fleet of products in the renewable energy space, including solar balcony solutions for apartments and modular BESS systems for homeowners.

E10’s solar backup features
Providing up to 37.2 kW on a surge, a single E10 unit can start high-power appliances with similar efficacy to a 5-ton AC. It can boost up to 10 kW per unit for up to 90 minutes, and switches “seamlessly” within 20 ms, protecting home appliances during a power outage.
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, NFL Hall of Famer, and SOLIX brand ambassador Troy Aikman has also endorsed the product’s worry-free experience model. The company’s website outlines the E10’s “Infinite Power” technology, as the product promises modular scalability, ultra-fast solar input, and direct current range extension.
“Utilizing modular 6 kWh batteries, combine up to 3 E10 sets to reach 90 kWh,” the company says. “This massive capacity delivers up to 15 days of backup power, ensuring families stay powered through extended outages.
“9kW solar input per unit, up to 27kW with 3 units. (The E10 is) compatible with all solar panels, including rigid, portable, and third-party AC solar systems.”
In the realm of installation and durability, SOLIX says its new E10 offers a weather-resistant enclosure which “operates reliably” from -4°F to 131°F. The product supports both wall and floor mounting, making it practical for flood-prone areas of the country. The product also offers a DIY installation option, with an industry-first stackable plug-in design, which also speeds up battery expansion installation.
Preorders for the E10 whole-home hybrid backup system are available now on Anker SOLIX’s company website. Official sales will commence Feb. 4, 2026, and customers can book installation time slots immediately.
