Sustainable Energy Technologies and Unconquered Sun Enter Installation Agreement
Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd. and Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies — a Windsor, Ontario, manufacturer of premium PV modules — jointly announced an agreement which will see Unconquered Sun use Sustainable Energy’s ProFab ground-mount solar systems exclusively for all of its requirements and oversee marketing, sales, distribution and installation of ProFab systems within Windsor and Essex County.
Unconquered Sun installed its first ProFab system earlier this week in the Town of Tecumseh located East of Windsor. Further projects are expected to roll out with Unconquered Sun over the summer.
“ProFab changes the game for ground-based systems making solar affordable and more economical to farmers and small landowners,” said Joseph Papic, Director of Marketing and Sales for Unconquered Sun. “Our first system was shipped, installed and commissioned all in the same day. The case for ProFab is very compelling and we are excited to be taking the product to market this summer.”
ProFab is a complete factory assembled and pre-certified solar PV system which is designed to reduce on-site labor costs by up to 90 percent and de-risk the installation process for project developers. It is made possible by Sustainable Energy’s shade tolerant parallel design architecture which accommodates a wide range of different site conditions. ProFab systems for Unconquered Sun will integrate Unconquered Sun’s “Windsor Series” solar module, a premium high-efficiency, light-weight module engineered with the rugged North American climate in mind.
Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc. is the first fully vertically integrated solar module manufacturer of its kind in North America providing in-house engineering, procurement and construction capability for all rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. Current plant capacity sits at 18 MW.
“We have a long standing relationship with the team at Unconquered Sun which is a leader in solar in the Windsor and the Essex County region with a very strong market presence. We are very much looking forward to this new partnership,” said Livio Filice Director of Sales for Sustainable Energy.
