Solar installers need all of the operations streamlining they can get these days, and Sunvoy, announced the launch of Sunvoy eSignatures this week — a built-in digital signature feature that is now included in their white label customer portals. This will enable solar companies to prepare, send, and collect legally binding signatures directly within their branded customer portal—no third-party tools, and no per-envelope fees.

With Sunvoy eSignatures, solar companies can now deliver a fully unified experience — from project tracking to document signing —reinforcing brand trust while saving thousands of dollars in external software costs and optimizing their operations.

“This is about giving installers control of their brand and their customer experience,” said Herve Billiet, CEO of Sunvoy. “No more off-brand PDFs or DocuSign logins—just a seamless journey under one roof.”

Why this matters

In the U.S., a typical solar customer might interact with 4–6 different platforms throughout their project journey—leading to confusion and reduced engagement. Sunvoy eSignatures eliminates this fragmentation.

Now, homeowners can sign documents directly inside the same app they use to track installation progress and monitor solar inverter system performance. Notifications come from the installer’s domain, documents remain accessible under the Documents tab, and all communications stay on-brand.

Cost savings case

Traditional eSignature vendors often charge $1–$3 per envelope, plus extra for multi-party signing and per-seat pricing for staff. For installers processing hundreds of documents per month, these fees quickly add up to five or six figures annually.

Sunvoy eSignatures removes that overhead entirely. “This eliminates a full class of SaaS expenses and simplifies financial operations for scaling solar companies,” the Sunvoy team says.

How it worrks

Documents like interconnection forms, change orders, and installation agreements can now be:

  • Automatically grouped into reusable envelopes
  • Triggered by project stages (e.g., post-permit or inspection scheduled)
  • Pre-filled with customer data from the installer’s CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, Netsuite, etc)
  • Sent automatically, without manual intervention

Each eSignature collected through Sunvoy includes:

  • Timestamped and IP-addressed tracked signatures
  • Locked audit logs
  • Version-controlled templates

Installers can duplicate and publish updated templates while preserving historical versions for full compliance and record-keeping.
