Solerus Energy expands with e-commerce platform and nationwide support for solar contractors and DIY-ers
This former regional supplier now offers a full catalog, free design services, and streamlined procurement tools for solar and storage projects

Solerus Energy, a longtime parts and design resource for residential solar projects, is repositioning itself as a national provider. The Issaquah, Washington-based company announced a full rebrand this month, unveiling a new website, modernized visual identity, and expanded e-commerce capabilities to meet growing demand from both contractors and DIY homeowners.
Solerus has grown from a regional supplier into a national solutions provider, offering a broad catalog of racking, rapid-shutdown components, monitoring systems, and other balance-of-system equipment. Its revamped online store now allows buyers to search and compare products, calculate taxes and shipping in real time, and complete purchases through multiple payment options, including credit card, ACH, and PayPal.
Free technical support as differentiator
Solerus is positioning its technical support as a core offering. Customers—whether professional installers or first-time solar adopters—can receive free design guidance and troubleshooting support from the Solerus team.
“Solar technology has accelerated quickly, and we’ve seen a growing wave of contractors and DIY homeowners who want flexible, affordable solutions,” said Syed Mujtaba, founder and president of Solerus Energy. “We’re excited to have grown from a regional presence to a nationally recognized brand due to the Solerus team’s consistent focus on providing expert support to each customer, from design through final troubleshooting.”
Tools for a changing market
Without the residential solar investment tax credit in 2026, the resi solar space will be shifting to simplicity and cost-effective solar designs for customers, and installer/dealer business models that match the changing market.
The redesigned SolerusEnergy.com site adds a searchable catalog with displayed prices, a blog covering best installation practices, and detailed manufacturer and product information. The goal, Mujtaba said, is to “take the guesswork out of solar” by guiding customers toward proven, high-performing products that match their goals.
With the federal investment tax credit beginning its stepdown and more homeowners looking for ways to control energy costs, Solerus is betting that an easy-to-navigate e-commerce site paired with personal technical support will help contractors and DIYers alike move projects forward with confidence.
