enSights debuts clean energy asset management suite

EnSights Asset management dashboard

Clean energy management and optimization company enSights is launching a new asset management suite that provides a real-time view of both operational and financial performance. Key features of the suite include real-time tracking of financial performance based on actual and expected energy production and costs, automatic contract and obligation management, automated report generation for stakeholders, and improved vendor oversight.

“Asset managers are critical in ensuring that clean energy fleets are performing at their best – both in terms of financial and energy performance. With larger fleets, diverse DERs, rapidly-changing market conditions, and a variety of vendors to manage, this is no easy task,” stated Alon Mashkovich, Co-Founder and CEO of enSights.

Asset managers have a unique and challenging set of demands, and enSights developed this suite with direct customer input, to help automate and streamline those responsibilities, “while providing greater control and oversight.” Mashkovich says.

The asset management suite is part of enSights’ clean energy management and optimization ecosystem, which leverages AI power for improved insights.

Customizable asset management dashboard

At the core of enSights’ new suite is a dedicated asset management dashboard that displays real-time and dynamic financial information, critical energy performance metrics, CTA reminders, and technical and financial KPIs.

The customizable dashboard provides a visual breakdown of real-time revenue and expense streams, including automated P&L and cash flow analysis that continuously updates based on real asset performance.

Technical KPIs displayed by the dashboard include a live status of alerts, service calls, insurance coverage and durations, and warranty timeframes, to provide asset managers with automated oversight of vendor management and the service level agreement (SLA). Additionally, the dashboard can be leveraged to automatically generate reports for key stakeholders, eliminating manual reporting and data verification.

enSights asset management key features

Key features of the suite include real-time financial asset tracking, automated SLA tracking and enforcement, and quality standards for vendor reporting.

The financial asset tracking enables customization of key settings for each project, including income and expenses, that are adjustable per business model. Unlike typical manual SLA oversight, smart reminders and configurable alerts automate SLA monitoring and enforcement to reduce risk and enhance accountability of all vendors.

An example of this game changing feature is the configurable alerts for agreed-upon performance standards, such as response times and automatic assignment of technicians per alert type. With this new suite, asset managers can now create quality benchmarking for reporting across all fleets, while also ensuring report customization to meet investor standards.

O&M oversight

Providing asset owners increased visibility and control of O&M technicians, the enSights dedicated suite includes a real-time, dynamic dashboard of all tickets and technicians, plus improved technician oversight. The dashboard displays critical technician statuses, such as location, workload, upcoming service calls by type, availability by customer, and overdue SLAs.

In addition, asset managers can assign and customize technician assignments based on experience level and specialization to ensure efficient deployment. Once technicians are onsite, asset managers have instant updates via dynamic forms that meet pre-set reporting standards.
